James Montgomery facing late fitness test for Forest green

Forest Green will check on James Montgomery ahead of their home game against bottom club Notts County.
The goalkeeper has been recovering from minor facial surgery after losing several teeth in a collision with Mansfield’s Gethin Jones on January 29.
Lewis Ward, on loan from Reading, played the remaining half an hour of the 1-1 draw with the Stags and he will continue between the posts should Montgomery not be ready to come back.
Elsewhere, Dayle Grubb continues his recovery from a knee injury. Saturday’s match may come too soon but the midfielder is nearing a return.
Notts County have been boosted by new signings and the recovery of injured players according to boss Neal Ardley.
Kane Hemmings could be pushing for a start after his return from injury, a week after Enzio Boldewijn made his first start since recovering from a knee problem.
New signing Virgil Gomis could also be pushing for a place in the starting line-up after coming off the bench in the 64th minute during County’s 1-1 draw against table-topping Lincoln.
Ardley will be hoping his host of attacking options can make their mark in his side’s bid to avoid dropping out of the league.
