Arsenal encouraged as Monchi closer to leaving Roma

Arsenal have been encouraged amid talk sports director Monchi is ready to leave AS Roma.
Monchi is on the North London club's list in their search for a new technical director.
And Calciomercato.com says the Italian is considering a departure from the Giallorosso.
He worked with Unai Emery at former club Sevilla and the duo's relationship is a major plus in his favour.
Monchi, 50, is under contract until 2020 but revealed he was flattered to be linked with the Gunners.
He actually lived in London while working for Sevilla - returning to Spain at the weekends.
