Bradford bring back Adam Chicksen after ban

Bradford defender Adam Chicksen returns to contention for the home game against Shrewsbury.

Chicksen was sent off in the recent defeat at Barnsley and boss David Hopkin confirmed he will be available after serving his suspension.

New signing Calum Woods is hoping to make his first home appearance for the club after making his debut in the weekend draw at Burton.

Goalkeeper Richard O’Donnell overcame a shoulder injury to play the full 90 minutes on Saturday and loanee Jermaine Anderson is pushing for his second appearance.  Sean Scannell and Kelvin Mellor are still out.

Shrewsbury will still be without striker Dave Edwards due to a groin injury.

Edwards is closing in on his return but will not be ready for the trip to Valley Parade.

Midfielder Shaun Whalley returned off the bench in Saturday’s FA Cup draw against Wolves and is expected to be among the substitutes again.

Former Bradford player Romain Vincelot is pushing for his first start after joining the Shrews on loan from Crawley last week.
