Blackpool short in goal as Howard and Boney continue to recover

Blackpool will check on goalkeepers Mark Howard and Myles Boney ahead of their Sky Bet League One clash with Wycombe.

Howard has missed three games with a groin injury while a shoulder problem for Boney meant the Seasiders had no substitute keeper on the bench at Coventry on Saturday.

Christoffer Mafoumbi has continued to impress in their absence, however, keeping three successive clean sheets.

On-loan Newcastle striker Elias Sorensen could make his debut after being an unused substitute at the weekend.

Wycombe could hand another opportunity to on-loan Manchester City youngster Luke Bolton.

The 19-year-old midfielder, who only signed last week, made a positive impression in a late run-out off the bench in Saturday’s victory over Plymouth.

Captain Matt Bloomfield will be checked after playing 71 minutes at the weekend on his first start since returning from a three-month lay-off with a knee injury.

Goalkeeper Yves Ma-Kalambay (finger) and defender Darius Charles (hip) are still injury concerns.
