INSIDER: Eriksen closer to Real Madrid than new Spurs deal

Christian Eriksen is closer to signing for Real Madrid than a new deal with Tottenham, it has been claimed.
AS says the player is a long way from agreeing a new deal with Tottenham, with his current contract set to expire in June, 2020.
Talks between Spurs and Eriksen began some time ago, but have come to little fruition. And a source close to the player says there is "nothing optimistic" and a renewal agreement will be "very, very difficult" to reach at this point.
But the possibility of a January move to the Bernabéu is at "0.1%", according to the source, as Spurs coach Mauricio Pochettino would not allow a key figure to leave at this stage in the season.
