He retweeted a tweet to his 141,000 followers that included a ‘welcome to Chelsea video’.
The original message was someone asking ‘Nicolo Barella or Leandro Paredes??’.
And one fan replied ‘Leandro Paredes, no debate’ with the video showing off his highlights.
And Paredes retweeted that despite not having his handle mentioned in the tweet.

Fabinho on PSG rumours
Fabinho has opened up on transfer talk linking him with a move to PSG.
The Liverpool ace insists he never thought about leaving and has appeared to accuse PSG of trying to unsettle him.
"I never thought of going elsewhere,” he told L’Equipe.
"I know a lot of things were written in the newspapers, but it wasn’t true.
"What’s funny is that this PSG loan story came out just before our Champions League match.
"And I had already experienced a similar story the day before the final of the Coupe de la Ligue between PSG and Monaco (in March last year).
"It’s a strange coincidence, is not it?”

United make Coutinho contact
Manchester United have contacted Philippe Coutinho’s agent over a potential move to Old Trafford.
United are well-stocked for forwards but Anthony Martial and Juan Mata are yet to sign new contracts despite the club wanting them to stay.
Should one of the duo depart, that could pave the way for a blockbuster arrival.
And Mundo Deportivo say United have asked Coutinho’s agent about a possible transfer in talks.
They have supposedly conveyed their interest in a move that could upset many Liverpool fans.

Chelsea ready to sell Callum Hudson-Odoi
Chelsea will only sell Callum Hudson-Odoi to Bayern Munich if the German club agree to insert a buy-back clause into the deal, reports say.
The 18-year-old has been the subject of FOUR bids from the Bundesliga giants and is said to be keen on making the switch to Germany.
However, The Times claim the deal has hit complications because Bayern are not keen to meet their demand for the clause.
It is said Chelsea are worried about losing out again as they have done with past players.

Perez eyes Dybala swap deal
Florentino Perez is keen on bringing Paulo Dybala to Real Madrid and could use Isco in the deal according to reports.
The Real Madrid president is looking for a new ‘Galactico’ after failing to fill the void left behind by Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Portuguese star left the Spanish capital for Turin last summer, leaving the side short of goals.
Gareth Bale has struggled with fitness problems while Karim Benzema remains inconsistent in front of goal.
According to Tuttosport, Perez wants to make Dybala his new star signing in the summer.
After the sale of Ronaldo, relationships between the two clubs remain strong despite the controversial ending to last season’s Champions League semi-final when the holders snatched it at the death.
Isco has found himself out of favour under Santiago Solari and the reports claims that Perez is willing to use the midfielder in a swap deal.
The former Malaga man does not want to leave the Santiago Bernabeu and is waiting for a new manager to take over.
With Juventus short of options in centre midfield, Isco could well tempt them into a deal.

Arsenal close in on Suarez
Arsenal could complete the signing of Denis Suarez from Barcelona next week, according to reports in Spain.
Suarez is Unai Emery’s top target this month as he looks to add to his options in midfield for the second half of the season.
And Mundo Deportivo report that Suarez has a ‘foot and a half’ out of the club already and that sources close to the negotiations hope an agreement can be struck next week.
Arsenal are unable to sign Suarez on a permanent deal this month and can only loan him due to FFP restrictions.
Barcelona however would prefer a transfer and may look to include an obligatory purchase option for the summer.
That could work for both clubs and the deal appears to be moving forward.

Monaco want Batshuayi
Monaco are keen on a deal for Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi having snapped up Cesc Fabregas.
The striker has returned from a loan spell at Valencia and is likely to be on the move again this month.
"Michy? I know him, we rubbed shoulders with Belgium, he is a player who can be interesting,” Monaco boss Thierry Henry said.
"But again, nothing is done. You have to be patient. It’s important that players know the championship, though.”

Real Madrid quoted stunning Harry Kane price
Real Madrid have been told they will have to pay a staggering £312million if they want to sign Harry Kane, according to reports in Spain.
The Tottenham star, 25, is said to be their top target as they search for a new man to lead the line after a difficult season so far.
And Spanish publication AS say they have been quoted what would comfortably be a world-record fee by Spurs.
That would dwarf the current record set by Paris Saint-Germain when they paid Barcelona £200m to sign Neymar, 26, in 2016.

Coutinho ‘fantastic for Manchester United’
Philippe Coutinho would be fantastic for Manchester United, according to ESPN pundit Paul Marriner.
The board are keen on bringing Neymar back to the Camp Nou and Coutinho’s sale could well pave the way for the PSG star’s return.
According to Mariner, it would be top business from Man United if they can prise the 26-year-old away from Barcelona.
"For United that’s fantastic but it would be a miss for him,” he said.

Coutinho to Man Utd?
Barcelona are reportedly willing to sell Philippe Coutinho amid interest from Manchester United.
The midfielder has struggled at the Nou Camp since joining a year ago and now Italian publication Calciomercato claims Barca could sell if the price is right.
Barcelona are keen re-sign Neymar and may use the sale of Coutinho to fund that deal.
Spanish publication Marca has also claimed Coutinho has hit rock bottom at Barcelona.
Chelsea close in on replacement for Fabregas
Chelsea are close to the signing of Leandro Paredes as they look to replace Cesc Fabregas.
Evening Standard reporter Simon Johnson claims a deal for Paredes is closer than one for Nicola Barella.
He tweeted in response to Chelsea’s post about Fabreas leaving, saying: “His departure should also mean new #cfc signing is imminent. I've been off today but #Paredes seemed closer than #Barella last night.”
It is though deals for both Paredes and Barella have been agreed in principle but Chelsea have decide which one they want.

Barca ready to bid for Willian again
Barcelona are set for a second bid for Chelsea Willian, according to the Evening Standard.
Barca have made clear their intentions to sign Willian by offering Malcom in exchange.
But Chelsea rejected the first move this month and will now have to decide on the second.
Willian has 18 months left on his contract so a sale would make sense but Maurizio Sarri is loathed to lose players this winter.

Barella fired warning as Chelsea circle
Chelsea target Nicolo Barella has been warned by Italy boss Roberto Mancini that he must get minutes at his next club.
"I was telling [Marco] Tardelli at the Coverciano training ground that Barella moves a lot like him,” Mancini explained to Italian paper La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"He has technique, quality, rarely loses the ball, is good in the air despite not being tall, never gives up and tends to push forward, but needs to also score a few more goals.
"Considering his age and the relative lack of Serie A experience, he has a strong grasp on his role already.
"Barella can set the example for the young Italian players out there who can give a little more to make that step up.
"He has enormous potential for growth and if he does leave Cagliari, he must be certain that he gets to play regularly.
"If he does go to a big club and is a first choice, then he can improve far more.
"However, if he risks spending half the season on the bench, he should stay put.”

Barcelona suffer Rabiot blow
Barcelona's chances of sealing a deal for Adrien Rabiot could be impacted by Chelsea, reports in France indicate.
Rabiot has been lined up to head to the Nou Camp when his Paris Saint-Germain deal expires in the summer.
But L'Equipe indicate Chelsea are plotting a move to take him to Stamford Bridge this month.
Chelsea want to replace Cesc Fabregas, who left them to join Monaco in a £10m move this week.
Barcelona could also be threatened by Bayern Munich, who have set their sights on Rabiot as well.

Southgate for Man Utd?
Manchester United are weighing up the possibility of appointing Gareth Southgate as Jose Mourinho's successor, reports claim.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has enjoyed a strong stint as interim boss in the wake of Mourinho's sacking in December.
But Mauricio Pochettino is the man Ed Woodward and co. really want to take the reins at Old Trafford.
The Telegraph, though, indicate fears are growing that Pochettino will snub United to stay with Spurs.
And that means Southgate has been identified as an option having guided England to the World Cup semi finals.
