Clyde score late double to edge Peterhead

Two late goals prevented Peterhead from moving top of Scottish League Two as they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Clyde at Balmoor.
Ryan Dow’s 29th-minute goal, tapping home after a mix-up in the Clyde defence, had looked like being enough to send the Blue Toon top.
But Alistair Love levelled four minutes from time, converting after David Goodwillie’s effort had struck a post, before Mark Lamont bagged the winner a minute later.
Peterhead’s first loss in six games ensured Edinburgh City remained three points clear at the top despite their surprise 1-0 home loss to Stirling.
Darren Smith scored the only goal six minutes into the second half from close range as Edinburgh’s seven-game unbeaten run was brought to an end.
Annan remain in the final play-off spot as a Tommy Muir brace – a goal either side of the break – helped them to a 2-0 home win over Elgin, for whom Chris McLeish was dismissed just before the hour.
Cowdenbeath snapped a four-game winless run by posting a 2-0 victory over 10-man Berwick at Central Park.
David Cox opened the scoring on the stroke of half-time before being brought down for a penalty which Harvey Swann converted in the 61st minute, with Ross Brown being dismissed for the visitors six minutes later.
Albion had been on course for only a second league win all season but had to settle for a point from a 2-2 draw at Queen’s Park.
After Dominic McLaren put Queens ahead in the 13th minute, Albion struck twice inside four minutes through Shaun Rodgers (15) and Gregor Fotheringham (19) to move in front.
But Lewis Hawke ensured a share of the spoils with an equaliser with 21 minutes remaining.
