Partick Thistle go bottom despite grabbing a point at Tannadice

Partick Thistle dropped to the bottom of the Championship table despite picking up only their second away point of the season in a 1-1 draw at Dundee United.
Thistle, whose four league wins this season have all come at home, were ahead after nine minutes as Kris Doolan was on hand at the back post to head in from Craig Slater’s corner.
And high-flying United were indebted to keeper Benjamin Siegrist for keeping the deficit to one before the break as he produced fine saves to deny Gary Harkins, Miles Storey and Blair Spittal.
Paul McMullan forced a smart save from Conor Hazard after 55 minutes as the hosts tried to fight their way back into the contest.
And United were level just after the hour mark from the penalty spot, Fraser Fyvie sending Hazard the wrong way after Sean McGinty fouled Aidan Nesbitt.
Nesbitt was played through on goal twice in the closing stages but was unable to snatch a winner.
Despite the point, the Jags saw themselves drop to the bottom of the table after Falkirk won away at Ayr.
