Salford closed the gap on Vanarama National League leaders Leyton Orient after beating the table-toppers 3-0 at the Matchroom Stadium.
Carl Piergianni gave the visitors an early lead with his first of the game, heading home from a Danny Whitehead corner in the sixth minute.
Salford’s lead was doubled soon after through Rory Gaffney who nodded in his 11th goal of the season, with another assist for Whitehead.
After a period of Orient pressure in the second half, Piergianni tapped home a Walker free-kick to wrap up victory for Salford with his second of the game.
