Barrow stopped by impressive Havant

Barrow saw their eight-match unbeaten Vanarama National League run come to an end following a 2-0 defeat at Havant and Waterlooville.
The match began in tepid fashion before springing into life in the five final minutes of the first half as Havant somehow failed to take the lead.
Joel Dixon produced a great save from close range to prevent Tyler Frost in the 39th minute, before Ryan Woodford’s header finally beat the Barrow goalkeeper a minute later, only to be denied by the woodwork.
Dixon saved from Frost once again before the break but the home goalkeeper was finally beaten 10 minutes after the restart through Theo Lewis’ powerful header.
Barrow’s misery was compounded late on as Kyle Jameson was shown a straight red card for a dangerous tackle on goalscorer Lewis and the visitors ensured their first win in five matches with Rory Williams’ finish in stoppage time.
