Morton beat leaders Ross County

Morton inflicted only a third Ladbrokes Championship defeat of the season on leaders Ross County thanks to Kerr Waddell’s first league goal for the club.
Waddell, on a season-long loan from Dundee, was back in the Ton starting line-up following a one-match ban and his 66th-minute strike proved the difference at Cappielow.
Michael Tidser’s deep free-kick found its way to Waddell and the 20-year-old defender turned his shot past visiting keeper Scott Fox.
That goal earned Morton a second successive victory, after they had brought to an end a six-match winless streak in the league with a 2-1 triumph against Partick Thistle last time out.
Waddell had earlier denied Don Cowie with a crucial intervention while former Morton striker Michael Gardyne twice saw efforts saved by home goalkeeper Derek Gaston.
The Staggies, who had opened up a three-point lead at the summit on the back of seven-match unbeaten run, finished the match with 10 men as Marcus Fraser was sent off late on.
