High-flying MK Dons put struggling Cambridge to the sword as they recorded a resounding 6-0 win after three winless matches in Sky Bet League Two.
Rhys Healey and Kieran Agard both scored twice, while Chuks Aneke and Osman Sow added strikes of their own for Paul Tisdale’s side.
The Dons’ first goal arrived after just five minutes when George Williams’ cross from the right found frontman Healey unmarked inside the six-yard box for the Cardiff City loanee to head home his eighth of the season.
Agard added a second moments later when he converted Bailey Cargill’s cross with a powerful header, before Aneke powered in a right-footed drive to make it 3-0 inside 12 minutes.
Healey extended MK Dons’ lead with his second of the afternoon just after the hour-mark, before Agard doubled his tally from the penalty spot with 15 minutes left to play.
Second-half substitute Sow wrapped things up late on for the hosts to leave Cambridge just above the drop zone following their third league defeat in four games.
