Myles Kenlock could stay in Ipswich XI

Ipswich defender Myles Kenlock could retain his place in the side for the Sky Bet Championship clash with Millwall.

Full-back Kenlock made a first start of the season when coming into the team for Saturday’s defeat at Middlesbrough, with Dane Jonas Knudsen, who has been linked with a January move away from Portman Road, dropping to the bench.

Forward Kayden Jackson and midfielder Gwion Edward were two other changes made by Town boss Paul Lambert, whose side remain adrift at the bottom of the table.

Midfielder Grant Ward, though, is set to miss the rest of the season after suffering a ruptured cruciate ligament, while Tom Adeyemi (Achilles), Emyr Huws (knee) and Cole Skuse (knee) also continue their recoveries. Tayo Edun is receiving treatment, back at parent club Fulham, for an eye problem.

Millwall will check on forward Lee Gregory ahead of the trip to Suffolk.

Gregory was taken off during the second half of Saturday’s 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest because of a calf problem, which is being assessed.

Forward Tom Elliott is being monitored after carrying a minor groin issue. Midfielder Jiri Skalak has recovered from a bacterial infection and was back in the squad as an unused substitute against Forest.

Midfielder Shaun Williams (ankle) continues his rehabilitation, while striker Tom Bradshaw could miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.
