Alex Iwobi had to ask what formation Arsenal were playing after coming on

This is so wonderfully tinpot.

The Premier League can seem like such a different world away at times, so it's refreshing when it occasionally comes back down to Earth with a bump.

During all the chaos that was Boxing Day in the Premier League, undoubtedly the most Sunday League moment came at Brighton.

Much of the focus was on the half time substitution of Mesut Ozil; a man now seemingly staring down the barrel at Arsenal.

Unai Emery opted to hook the maligned German after just 45 mins in favour of Alex Iwobi.

Only Iwobi either wasn't paying attention to his half time instructions or Emery left out some fairly vital information… what formation the Gunners were playing.

Just prior to the game getting back underway, Iwobi appeared to ask a team-mate for guidance.

Arsenal were unable to find a winner in a pretty dire second half in which Brighton actually looked more likely to score.

Then again, it probably didn't help that one of their players was clueless to what formation they were lining up in.

Just spitballing here.
