Juventus have been on fire so far this Serie A season, winning 16 and drawing one of their opening 17 league matches, with Cristiano Ronaldo featuring in every one of these matches.
In total, the summer signing has played 1,520 minutes out of a possible 1,530 in Serie A and has scored 11 goals, but he'll finally be given a rest in the 18th round against Atalanta.
Massimiliano Allegri had promised that the No.7 would be given a break against one of Roma, Atalanta or Sampdoria and will keep his word in the second of these festive fixtures, which takes place on December 26.
"I hope he'll be in top form in March," the coach said.
"It'll be important to have him in perfect conditions when the Champions League knockout round starts.
"He can be decisive as he has been in recent years."
Ronaldo has already had some rest this campaign in the Champions League, although that was because of the red card and suspension he picked up away at Valencia.
