MK Dons players to undergo fitness checks ahead of Colchester match

MK Dons boss Paul Tisdale will check on the fitness of a handful of players ahead of his side’s top-of-the-table clash with Colchester.
Second-placed Dons saw their game at Newport last weekend postponed due to a water-logged pitch, but the week off might have allowed some injured players the time they needed to recover.
Jordan Moore-Taylor would have missed out at Rodney Parade while Chuks Aneke has been nursing a minor knock.
There is a good chance Rhys Healey, who came off injured against Carlisle on December 8, will be fit on Saturday, while Lawson D’Ath has resumed training and should also be available.
Colchester could have top scorer Luke Norris back in their starting line up.
The eight-goal forward has come on as a substitute in the last two matches, having been sidelined since the start of November by an ankle injury.
Tom Eastman should be back in contention for Colchester, who will be looking to bounce back from a 4-0 defeat at Carlisle last weekend.
The defender has been out since the beginning of November after sustaining a small fracture near his eye, but he has now resumed full training.
