Charlton Athletic vs Gillingham - Naby Sarr sidelined for Charlton
Posted Friday, December 21, 2018 by PA
Charlton will be without suspended defender Naby Sarr for the Sky Bet League One game with Gillingham.
The Frenchman starts a three-match ban after being sent off in last weekend’s win over AFC Wimbledon.
Addicks manager Lee Bowyer hopes to have some of his injured players back during the festive period, but Karlan Grant (hamstring), Jamie Ward (leg), George Lapslie (concussion), and Josh Cullen (shoulder) will once again be absent on Saturday.
Darren Pratley (knee), Igor Vetokele (shoulder) and Lewis Page (groin) are unlikely to return, while Jake Forster-Caskey (knee) is out for the season.
Callum Reilly returns to contention for Gillingham at the Valley.
The midfielder is available after completing a three-game suspension following his red card at Bristol Rovers on November 27.
Defender Max Ehmer remains sidelined with a dislocated shoulder, with Alex Lacey likely to continue to deputise.
Defender Bradley Garmston and forward Brandon Hanlan are among the players pushing for starts for Steve Lovell’s side.
