MK Dons receive fitness boosts for Carlisle clash

MK Dons boss Paul Tisdale is hopeful of having Jordan Moore-Taylor and Chuks Aneke available to him for Saturday’s League Two clash with Carlisle.
Defender Moore-Taylor and striker Aneke both limped out of their side’s 2-0 victory over Morecambe on November 27, but with the club not having played since, have had time to recover.
Tisdale will assess the pair, as well as midfielder Peter Pawlett, who suffered a niggle on his return from an ankle injury, before naming his side.
In addition, he is hoping to extend striker Rhys Healey’s loan spell from Cardiff with the 24-year-old having scored seven goals since arriving at the club in August.
Carlisle manager John Sheridan could welcome back three men for the trip to Milton Keynes.
Defenders Danny Grainger and Tom Parkes, who have been sidelined by calf and hamstring injuries respectively, have returned to training and are available for selection.
In addition, midfielder Jamie Devitt is also back in contention after missing last weekend’s 2-0 FA Cup defeat at Lincoln with a knock, while striker Ashley Nadesan could return after being refused permission by parent club Fleetwood to play in the cup-tie.
Sheridan has also been boosted by the news that long-term absentee Jason Kennedy has been given permission by his specialist to step up his recovery from a pelvic problem.
