James Perch returns to contention for Scunthorpe’s clash with Gillingham

Scunthorpe welcome back James Perch from suspension for the visit of Gillingham.

Defender Perch missed Sunday’s FA Cup defeat at Shrewsbury as he served a one-match ban following his red card against Southend.

Lee Novak and Cameron Burgess picked up knocks on Sunday and will be assessed.

Lewis Butroid and Funso Ojo remain on the sidelines for the 20th-placed Iron.

Gillingham, two places higher on goal difference, will be without Brandon Hanlan and Callum Reilly.

Forward Hanlan has been ruled out of the trip with a hand injury.

Midfielder Reilly is serving a three-match ban following his red card at Bristol Rovers last month.

Billy Bingham is set to return having not been risked in the FA Cup win at non-league Slough.
