Solihull beat fellow promotion hopefuls Harrogate

Solihull Moors built on their impressive FA Cup showing against Blackpool by beating Vanarama National League opponents Harrogate 2-0.

Premier League giants Arsenal await the winners of next week’s replay between Solihull and Blackpool in round three.

But Solihull returned to league business in impressive fashion at the Autotech Stadium as goals in each half took them fifth in the table, level on points with Harrogate and Wrexham.

Alex Gudger netted the Solihull opener after 36 minutes, then Adi Yussuf’s penalty five minutes from time sealed maximum points.
