Dagenham beat Bromley to escape drop zone
Posted Sunday, November 25, 2018 by PA
Dagenham continued their recent revival as a 2-0 win at Bromley lifted them out of the bottom four in the Vanarama National League.
Peter Taylor’s side, who went into the game on the back of three wins from four matches, took the lead in the 17th minute when Conor Wilkinson tapped in from Alex McQueen’s corner.
Bromley squandered a glorious chance to level four minutes before half-time, Joe Quigley blazing wide from 10 yards after excellent play from Junior Ogedi-Uzokwe.
Daggers goalkeeper Elliot Justham was in inspired form and, having earlier foiled Jack Barham, he saved well from Marc-Anthony Okoye and Adam Mekki in quick succession.
Angelo Balanta wrapped up the points for Dagenham six minutes from time, curling home after a lapse in the Bromley defence.
