Salford slip up against Solihull

Salford lost ground on leaders Leyton Orient as they were held to a goalless draw by fellow promotion hopefuls Solihull.
Big-spending Salford extended their unbeaten run in the National League to 18 games but are now three points behind Orient following the O’s late win over Wrexham.
Graham Alexander’s men, knocked out of the FA Cup in midweek, might consider it a point gained, however, with opponents Solihull in similarly impressive form.
Moors have now tasted defeat only once in 13 matches, during which run they have kept 10 clean sheets and it is now almost nine hours since they last conceded.
Goalkeeper Ryan Boot helped them keep that impressive record intact on Saturday, denying the freescoring Adam Rooney and Lois Maynard, while Salford defender Ibou Touray hit the bar with a first-half cross.
Solihull were not without their chances either and Jermaine Hylton almost netted a late winner only to see his shot come back off the post.
