Wayne Rooney came on the pitch for the final time as an England player during a friendly match against the USA.
The 33-year-old was handed the captain's armband one more time and received an amazing reception from those in attendance at Wembley Stadium.
Earlier this month, it was revealed that the former Manchester United star would be making his return to the national team for one final match.
The DC United player said that it would be "strange" to play at Wembley in his final international appearance.

"It is something I am looking forward to," he said (via BBC Sport). "I had my first training session on Monday and it was strange getting in amongst the players at training.
"To run out at Wembley again will be something I will be proud of and it will be a special moment."
England and United's all-time record scorer also looked back at his international career and the opportunity to represent his country.
"Things happen that are good and bad in football, you have to accept that," he said. "It would have been nice to win something.
"I appreciate my time in the England squad. There were great memories and I made great friends. The only regret was maybe not having that last game to say thanks to the fans.
"I think as a country obviously we haven't done anything like this before. Of course, it's something different and I'm not asking people to agree with it.
"I think what is important, as well as that the game is going to go ahead and that I'm going to take part."
Jesse Lingard opened the scoring for the Three Lions with a fantastic finish. Trent Alexander-Arnold doubled their lead and Callum Wilson scored the third on his England debut.
Gareth Southgate's men beat the US 3-0.
Good luck to @WayneRooney. 120 caps and 53 goals is a sensational international career. Well played.
