PAUL POGBA has conceded he could leave Manchester United and return to Juventus one day.
Pogba joined Manchester United from Juventus in 2016 and he has come under continual criticism during his spell at Old Trafford.
The Frenchman was on the winning side when he headed back to Turin on Wednesday night as United clinched a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over the Bianconeri.
However, he refused to celebrate United’s decisive goal with a minute remaining of normal time.
Pogba has been linked with a move away with the Red Devils and his fractious relationship with Jose Mourinho has been well documented.
And when asked after the game whether a return to the reigning Serie A champions, Pogba said: “Who knows? I’m with United now.
“There is so much talk about this, but am happy to be playing for Manchester United.
“It was wonderful coming back here, although it felt weird going into the ‘away’ locker room.
“I was so accustomed to the Juve one.
“The reaction of the fans really moved me, as I missed them and Italian football.
“It was great to be back in this stadium, where I started out and won big trophies.”
When asked why he didn’t celebrate United’s goal, Pogba added: “I didn’t celebrate when we went 2-1 up, it felt too strange.
“I saw so many people that I know well.
“We played against a great team and we really had to win tonight.”
United resume Premier League duties away to Manchester City on Sunday.
Mourinho’s men will have fond memories of their trip to the Etihad last season where they won 3-2.
