Real Madrid will sign Palacios after Boca-River

Although an agreement is yet to be closed between Real Madrid and River Plate for Ezequiel Palacios' signing, the deal is set to be finalised after the Copa Libertadores final against Boca Juniors.
The second leg is set for November 24 and from that point Los Blancos will be able to put pen to paper for the 20-year-old talent's acquisition.
According to Telemadrid, Palacios will sign for the next five season and River will receive 20 million euros.
As MARCA have learned, Madrid have already contacted the Argentine team eager to pay more than his 15 million dollars buy-out clause to overcome the competition.
Last week Los Millonarios' president, Rodolfo D'Onofrio, claimed that he was frustrated because Real Madrid bypassed River to make direct communication with the player, without the club's permission.
"It surprises us, if it is as it seems, that a stately institution like Real Madrid have acted in this negotiation directly with the football player, without respecting a club like River and behind our back," he said to MARCA.
