Leeds United vs Ipswich - Duo set to return for Leeds against Ipswich
Posted Tuesday, October 23, 2018 by PA
Jack Harrison and Luke Ayling are in contention for Leeds’ clash with bottom-placed Ipswich.
On-loan Manchester City winger Harrison has recovered from the muscle injury that kept him out of Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Blackburn, where right-back Ayling was absent through suspension.
Left-back Barry Douglas continues to occupy the sidelines with a hamstring injury along with long-term absentees Patrick Bamford and Izzy Brown.
Defender Pontus Jansson is expected to be named on the bench, having travelled back from Sweden following the birth of his first child, while fit-again playmaker Pablo Hernandez is set to start.
Under-pressure Ipswich boss Paul Hurst has admitted he is considering changes.
Hurst has no fresh concerns after his side’s disappointing 2-0 loss at home to QPR but could shuffle his pack.
Myles Kenlock (hamstring) is still not fit and he joins Ellis Harrison in the treatment room.
Hurst has a decision to make in goal, with Dean Gerken having played the last seven games after Bartosz Bialkowski was dropped.
