Despite it appearing that Arsene Wenger had rejected the chance to join PSG, it seems that the Arsenal legend has had a change of heart.
While it is believed that Wenger is seeking a return to management, the 68-year-old could be tempted to take on a senior role with the Ligue 1 champions.
After meeting with PSG boss Thomas Tuchel last week, Wenger is seen as the perfect man to strengthen PSG behind the scenes.
Wenger to join PSG?
Since ending his 22-year reign in North London over the summer, Wenger has made it no secret that he is not looking at retirement.
He is now heavily linked as the man to replace PSG's sporting director Antero Henrique.
It is believed that the relationship between Tuchel and Henrique has become incredibly untenable.
The German boss was angered by his sporting director's decision to not bring in a replacement for the recently retired Thiago Motta.
Along with discussing his potential new role with PSG, the two coaches also spoke about a possible new signing.
Looking to strengthen their squad, the duo are both a big admirer of Tanguy Ndombele.
The Lyon midfielder has recently been called up to France's squad for the first time.
Impressing many across Europe, the 21-year-old has also been linked as a transfer target for Tottenham.
Wenger praises Tuchel
Wenger has been quick to praise the job Tuchel is doing with the French heavyweights.
"I hold [Tuchel] in high regard. He has adapted very quickly to French football,"
"He looks very smart and has a good connection with his players.
"His start at PSG has been great. The first impressions are very positive, and I think that's very important when you come from abroad.
"You must have some luck to start well, but the quality is there. There will be some harder matches to come for PSG in the future and the expectations in Paris are very high.
"I hope that he can also be successful in the Champions League."
The former Borussia Dortmund boss is enjoying a very impressive start to his tenure at Parc des Princes.
Winning all eight of their opening Ligue 1 games, PSG are the first team to do so since 1936.
