Ripley and Conneely missing for Accrington’s clash with Bradford

Accrington will be without goalkeeper Connor Ripley and captain Seamus Conneely for their League One clash with Bradford on Saturday.
Ripley was sent off after only 16 minutes of last weekend’s loss to Shrewsbury for a high challenge on Lee Angol. Stanley challenged the severity of the subsequent three-match ban but were not successful.
Conneely has missed the last two games because of a groin problem and is expected to be sidelined until the end of October while defender Harvey Rodgers (knee) is also out.
Last weekend’s defeat brought to an end Stanley’s 10-game unbeaten run in the league.
Bradford forward Alex Jones could be involved in league action for the first time in 11 months.
The 24-year-old made a first appearance since November last year as a substitute in the Checkatrade Trophy clash with Oldham in midweek following ankle surgery.
Josh Wright could return to the side after only making the bench last weekend following a hamstring problem while Hope Akpan (shoulder), Ben Wilson (knee), Adam Chicksen (leg) and Jake Reeves (groin) have all returned to light training.
Bradford will be without midfielder Sean Scannell, who begins a three-match ban following his sending-off in the defeat by Sunderland.
