Hoffenheim vs Manchester City - Derby and Norwich managers set to ring changes

Derby boss Frank Lampard is considering making changes to his team for the home game against Norwich.

After impressive victories against Brentford and Manchester United, Lampard named an unchanged side for the third game running at Bolton on Saturday but the Rams were beaten.

The likes of Andre Wisdom, Tom Huddlestone, Tom Lawrence and Jack Marriott will be among those pushing for inclusion on Wednesday night.

Curtis Davies is not yet ready to return from a hamstring injury but took a step in the right direction on Monday when he played 70 minutes for the under-23s. It was the 33-year-old defender’s first action since the opening game of the season.

Similar to Derby, Norwich have named an unchanged starting line-up for the last three Championship games and Canaries boss Daniel Farke could be tempted to freshen up things.

Marco Stiepermann is expected to be fit despite a virus while Louis Thompson (hamstring) and Todd Cantwell (eye) are nursing minor injuries from the weekend but will travel.

Grant Hanley, Onel Hernandez and Kenny McLean are close to being back while Ben Marshall featured for the development squad last week after a spell out through illness.

Carlton Morris and Matt Jarvis remain longer term absentees for Norwich.
