Nottingham Forest vs Millwall - Diogo Goncalves remains banned

Nottingham Forest boss Aitor Karanka should have an unchanged squad for the visit of Millwall, with Diogo Goncalves still suspended.

The Portuguese winger, on loan from Benfica, will serve the second game of a three-match ban after he was sent off in the Carabao Cup win against Stoke last week.

Karanka must decide whether or not to make changes to his team as he looks to extend Forest’s unbeaten run to six games in all competitions.

Karanka has switched his midfield options in recent weeks, with Ben Osborn missing out at Blackburn on Saturday. However, the 24-year-old could be in line to make his 200th appearance for the Reds on Wednesday night by returning to the starting line-up.

Millwall will be without the suspended Jed Wallace.

The midfielder, who has been in every league XI for the Lions since New Year’s Day, received his fifth yellow card of the campaign during the home defeat to Sheffield United at the weekend and he must serve a one-match ban.

Either Jiri Skakak or Shane Ferguson is expected to replace Wallace at the City Ground.

Tom Bradshaw could also return to lead the forward line as Millwall chase a return to winning ways after seven Sky Bet Championship fixtures without victory, six of which have been defeats.
