Doncaster midfielder Ali Crawford could return to the squad for the home game against Bradford.
Crawford has made just one appearance since arriving in the summer, but has returned to full training and hopes to be included on the bench.
Boss Grant McCann is expected to name an unchanged starting line-up with no new injury or suspension worries after last week’s impressive win at Walsall.
Midfielder Tommy Rowe remains sidelined due to a long-term hamstring problem.
Bradford boss David Hopkin is still without 10 senior players through injury as his side bid to avoid a fifth straight league defeat.
Midfielder Josh Wright and defender Kelvin Mellor (both hamstring) are scheduled to return to full training next week.
Jake Reeves (groin), Alex Jones (hamstring), Joe Riley, Luca Colville, Ben Wilson (both knee), Hope Akpan (shoulder), Adam Chicksen (leg) and Danny Devine (foot) all remain sidelined.
Hopkin, who has lost his first two games in charge, is expected to select from an unchanged squad with no new injuries following last week’s home defeat to Charlton.
