Howe heads Harrogate on their way to Maidstone win

Promoted Harrogate continued their unbeaten campaign at the top of the National League with an efficient 2-0 win at struggling Maidstone.
Centre-back Callum Howe nodded Harrogate into an early lead, reacting well to a Liam Kitching header that rebounded from the bar.
Seasoned poacher Jack Muldoon made it 2-0 on the stroke of half-time. A well-timed run allowed him to get on the end of Joe Leesley’s pass to go one-on-one with Lee Worgan.
The frustration continued for Maidstone’s newly-appointed manager Harry Wheeler and his team in the second half as Shamir Mullings headed against the bar. Maidstone’s run of losses extended to six, but they showed spirit in defeat to a buoyant side.
