Hartlepool held by Eastleigh

Hartlepool extended their unbeaten league run to eight games but were disappointed with a 1-1 draw at home to struggling Eastleigh.
All looked good early on as Pools led midway through the first half when Niko Muir tapped in a low cross from the right.
Scott Loach, however, did more than his fair share to keep his side ahead, including a good stop from Cavanagh Miley.
The goalkeeper was powerless to prevent Paul McCallum’s equaliser on 70 minutes as the defender converted Mark Yeates’s cross with a bullet header.
Visiting stopper Graham Stack secured a point for the Spitfires with good saves from Liam Noble and Paddy McLaughlin.
