Leyton Orient’s unbeaten start to the season extended to 11 games with an impressive 3-1 win over Barnet at Brisbane Road.
The O’s hit the front after just 11 minutes when Josh Coulson slid in to convert fellow defender Charlie Lee’s header back across goal.
It was an advantage that lasted 13 minutes as Wesley Fonguck levelled for John Still’s men with a terrific 25-yard volley following a flick-on by David Tutonda.
Orient forged ahead again in the 68th minute thanks to fine curling finish by James Dayton, who collected Craig Clay’s pass in his stride and left goalkeeper Mark Cousins with little chance.
Macauley Bonne made sure Barnet’s five-match winning streak ended, scoring at the second attempt after he controlled Jobi McAnuff’s deep cross.
