Jurgen Klopp has business yet to complete in the transfer market
The Reds have made a number of signings this summer and Klopp must trim his wage bill.
After the arrivals of Alisson, Naby Keita, Fabinho and Xherdan Shaqiri, Liverpool have spent in excess of £180m as they look to challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title.
And there have been just two permanent departures: Danny Ward and Ragnar Klavan, whilst a number of players have left on loan.
As a result, there could be a mini-exodus before Friday with two stars expected to lead the way.
And Klopp has earmarked Origi and Markovic to join the list of leavers.
The Belgian striker joined Wolfsburg on loan last summer and went on to score six goals in 34 games.
Borussia Dortmund were interested in signing the forward but appear to have pulled out of a deal.
But the Liverpool Echo have reported that they have been put off by Liverpool's asking price of £27m.
Dortmund would rather loan the player but the Reds want the player off the books for good.
Markovic, on the other hand, is set for another temporary switch.
Belgian clubs Standard Liege and Anderlecht are hot on his trail, who is in the last year of his contract.
