St Mirren left short-handed for the visit of Livingston

St Mirren go into Saturday’s visit of fellow Ladbrokes Premiership newcomers Livingston on the back of several injury blows.
Defenders Adam Eckersley and Gary MacKenzie both discovered they needed Achilles operations this week while goalkeeper Danny Rogers is awaiting news on the knee injury which saw him carried off during a reserve game.
Lee Hodson joins the squad after his loan move from Rangers and Ryan Flynn could return after missing the defeat by Aberdeen, while midfielder Jordan Kirkpatrick is nursing an ankle knock.
New Livingston boss Gary Holt will allow assistant boss David Martindale to help him pick his team for the match.
Holt has replaced Kenny Miller but will consult with Martindale before naming his first starting line-up for the trip to Paisley.
The new boss will be without midfielder Craig Sibbald (knock) as well as strikers Ryan Hardie (foot) and Raffaele De Vita (knee).
