Motherwell striker Ryan Bowman is back in the squad to face Rangers after recovering from an ankle injury.
Liam Grimshaw has recovered from a knee injury and fellow midfielder Chris Cadden should return from a knock.
Defenders Charles Dunne and Liam Donnelly both remain out with groin problems along with long-term absentee Craig Tanner (knee).
Lassana Coulibaly will again miss out for Rangers.
The midfielder has not featured since sustaining a thigh strain against St Mirren and boss Steven Gerrard admits he is not yet ready to return.
Ross McCrorie also sits out the Fir Park trip through suspension but Borna Barisic returns after being ineligible for Thursday’s Europa League tie with Ufa. Jamie Murphy, Graham Dorrans (both knee) and Jordan Rossiter (ankle) remain on the sidelines.
