Brighton & Hove Albion vs Man Utd - Bruno unavailable for Brighton’s clash with Utd
Posted Friday, August 17, 2018 by PA
Brighton will be without captain Bruno for Sunday’s Premier League clash with Manchester United.
The Spanish defender injured his hamstring during the opening-day defeat at Watford and could be replaced by deadline-day signing Martin Montoya, who is available to make his debut.
Romanian forward Florin Andone remains out with a groin injury, while Colombia winger Jose Izquierdo will not be involved as he returns to fitness following his involvement at the World Cup.
Manchester United have no fresh injury worries.
Nemanja Matic and Antonio Valencia returned to training on Thursday but are not fit to be selected yet, while boss Jose Mourinho was unclear on the availability of Jesse Lingard.
Paul Pogba will wear the captain’s armband again. Ander Herrera, Sergio Romero, Marcos Rojo and Diogo Dalot remain out, but those late back from the World Cup are closing in on full fitness.
