Huddersfield are at full strength for the visit of Cardiff, with changes likely after last week’s 6-1 defeat at Manchester City.
Defender Mathias Jorgensen and Jonathan Hogg have both been back in full training and should return, while midfielder Aaron Mooy will reclaim his place after the birth of his son.
Summer signing Erik Durm is pushing for inclusion in the squad and boss David Wagner must decide whether to recall goalkeeper Jonas Lossl in place of Ben Hamer.
Cardiff are again without Aron Gunnarsson for the trip.
Gunnarsson is making progress after a knee injury and he could be fit for the visit of Arsenal next weekend, although manager Neil Warnock may delay the Iceland midfielder’s return until after the international break.
Lee Peltier is pushing to replace Bruno Ecuele Manga at right-back and Warnock is assessing his forward options as Cardiff go in search of their first goal of the season.
