Morecambe goalkeeper Barry Roche will miss the visit of Oldham as he serves a one-match suspension for getting sent off in midweek.
It means Mark Halstead will make his debut on Saturday, having joined from Southport in the summer.
Forward Vadaine Oliver and midfielder Andrew Tutte, who only recently returned from a groin injury, are doubtful after not making Tuesday’s squad for the win over Northampton.
Rhys Oates and Jason Oswell could keep their places after coming in for the Shrimps’ first win of the season.
Oldham striker Sam Surridge is out after the recurrence of a hamstring injury saw him miss the midweek draw at Yeovil.
Midfielder Giles Coke was rested for that match but could return.
Defender Cameron Dummigan (groin) who has not played since March, is two to three weeks away from a comeback.
Striker Ishmael Miller, who has been struggling with a hamstring injury, is also doubtful after starting on Tuesday but lasting just 45 minutes before being replaced by Jose Baxter.
