Newport boss Flynn juggles injuries for Crewe clash

Newport manager Michael Flynn has a number of injuries to contend with as he prepares for Crewe’s Rodney Parade visit in League Two.
County made a poor start to the season last weekend, suffering a 3-0 defeat at Mansfield.
And they did not escape on the injury front either, with defender Mark O’Brien and utility player Robbie Willmott missing that game and now facing a fitness race.
Flynn also has doubts over three other unnamed players, and squad resources could be stretched as the Welsh club target a winning start at home.
Crewe are fresh from crushing Morecambe 6-0 in their season opener, and their biggest doubt for the trip to Wales is captain George Ray.
Ray went off during the Morecambe encounter after taking a knock to his ribs, and manager David Artell might decide not to risk him.
If Ray is fit, then there is a strong chance that Artell will retain the squad that accounted for Morecambe in such emphatic fashion.
Striker Shaun Miller, meanwhile, is expected to resume training next week as he targets a return following knee trouble.
