Shaun Miller on the road to recovery before meeting with Morecambe

Crewe are hoping to have Shaun Miller available for their curtain-raiser with Morecambe.
Miller suffered a knee injury that ruled him out of Crewe’s last few friendlies but a scan has shown there is no serious damage and he could be fit for Saturday.
Midfielder Jamie Jones is fit after a hamstring injury and will be in contention.
New signings Alex Nicholls and Nicky Hunt should also be involved in the squad.
Morecambe have only two fit centre-halves to pick from for the trip to Gresty Road.
Boss Jim Bentley has only Steve Old and Sam Lavelle to pick from after being unable to bring any defenders in during the summer.
A host of new signings will be in contention as Andrew Tutte, Liam Mandeville, Jordan Cranston and Mark Halstead hope for debuts.
Bentley also hopes to be able to bring more players in, though might not get it done before the weekend.
