Cristiano Ronaldo's lookalike was spotted at the Turin airport earlier today and everyone went completely mad, not least because of the recent stories linking the attacker with a move to Juventus.
There has been more than just rumours in recent days suggesting that Ronaldo will be making the move to Juventus from Real Madrid for a fee thought to be 100 million euros.
The Portugal international must be disappointed after a poor World Cup campaign, his side knocked out to Uruguay in the knockout stages, but now, if we know Ronaldo as well as we think we do, his sights will be set on next season.
But who he will be playing for remains the biggest question of all.
Multiple outlets are reporting that the star will be playing football for the Old Lady next season, with one even suggesting that he will be unveiled as a Juve player on Saturday.
Cristiano Ronaldo has already accepted Juventus contract bid: €30M/season until June 2022. CR7 is now waiting for Real Madrid to let him go and find the total agreement with Juventus. Mendes is working on it. ⚪️⚫️ #transfers #CristianoRonaldo #CR7 #RealMadrid #Juventus

Rumours ignited the regional press in Italy, and things reached fever pitch when the 33-year-old was seen at the airport in the city of Turin, Juventus' home, and it sent the city into meltdown, with the public and members of staff believing they were in the presence of Ronaldo.

They were right in that a famous footballer was at the airport, but it was not Ronaldo; it was Torini defender Armando Izzo.
The two players could well be playing football in the same league next season, so instances like this one might just occur again.
