ALEXIS SANCHEZ looks to have begun his pre-season training early with gym sessions in Brazil - and has been joined by Chilean beauty Mayte Rodriguez.

The Manchester United star is missing the World Cup after Chile failed to qualify.

But Sanchez is making sure he is staying in tip-top shape ahead of the new season and has his stunning partner, to keep him motivated.

The pair, both 29, took to Instagram to share a video of them working out in a gym that overlooks the famous Copacabana beach in Rio de Janiero.

Sanchez is rumoured to have been dating the blonde stunner since the beginning of last year, but their relationship was only made public following July's Confederations Cup tournament, in which Chile took part.

There was speculation the couple had split in May, after deleting photos of each other on Instagram - but they were untrue with the Sanchez enjoying the Brazilian sun with Rodriguez.

The Chilean attacker will soon be back in England to prepare for the new campaign.

Manchester United will head to USA for a pre-season tour, which starts against Club America on July 20.

They will also take part in the International Champions Cup, playing against AC Milan, Liverpool and Real Madrid before heading to Germany to face Bayern Munich.

The Red Devils kick off their Premier League campaign by hosting Leicester City at Old Trafford.
