CRISTIANO RONALDO has been linked with a shock move to Juventus this summer, but the Serie A club might need to sell some of their best talent in order to afford the Real Madrid legend.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked with a surprise move to Juventus this summer, having hinted his desire to leave Real Madrid following the Champions League final.
The Portuguese ace is tipped to sign for the Turin club in an £88m deal, potentially penning a four-year contract worth £105m.
Initially it was thought only Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain had the financial clout to afford Ronaldo, but now Juventus believe they will be able to generate the funds necessary for the transfer.
Italian newspaper Gazette dello Sport have identified Gonzalo Higuain as key to any deal, with Chelsea ready to pay £53m for the Argentinian – as long as they offload Willian to Barcelona.
The Blues have also been linked with midfielders Miralem Pjanic and Daniele Rugani. Besides, Alex Sandro, Gianluigi Buffon, Stefano Sturaro, Mario Mandzukic and Paulo Dybala also could be sold to free up funds for Ronaldo.
