Scotland Under-21s face wait for semi-final fate

Scotland Under-21s overcame South Korea Under-21s 2-1 but now face an anxious wait to see if they have reached the semi-finals of the Toulon Tournament.
Superb goals from Billy Gilmour and Oliver Burke inside the opening eight minutes gave Scotland the perfect start in their final group match but South Korea improved after half-time and pulled a goal back through Kangin Lee’s free-kick after 71 minutes.
Scot Gemmill’s side held on to win the game and go top of the group ahead of the France v Togo clash later on Saturday.
If Togo win, the semi-final place will be decided by goal difference between them and Scotland but if hosts France earn at least a point, Scotland will go through to the last four as group winners.
