Liverpool star Mohamed Salah was forced off with an injury against Real Madrid tonight
That's according to BT Sport commentator Darren Fletcher.
The Egyptian was forced off with a shoulder injury in the first half of tonight's Champions League final after falling awkwardly when challenged by Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos.
The 25-year-old left the pitch in tears and was consoled by Ronaldo as he was escorted away by the Liverpool medical team.
The extent of Salah's injury is currently unknown but there are early fears that he could miss this summer's World Cup with a dislocated shoulder.
Ronaldo went off injured early on two years ago as Portugal met France in the final.
And Fletcher has compared the incidents that saw both sides have to battle on without their talismen.
"Well he's in tears down there, Mo Salah,” he said.
"It's reminiscent to the scenes we saw in the European Championship final when Ronaldo had to leave the field for Portugal.

"He was so important on the way to the final.
"Sadio Mane there to console Mo Salah, and Adam Lallana will be given the opportunity here in the final of the Champions League.”
