Chelsea willing to offer Morata plus cash for Inter Milan captain Icardi

Chelsea are willing to offer Alvaro Morata to Inter Milan in a swap for Mauro Icardi.

Icardi is unsettled at Inter, despite leading the club into the Champions League.

Il Messaggero says Chelsea are prepared to offer Morata plus €35-40m in order to prise Icardi away from Inter.

Icardi has scored a massive 107 competitive goals in 182 appearances for Inter, and at the age of 25 has 110 Serie A goals in 190 games.

There is a release clause in his contract worth €110m, but that is only valid up until July 15.
