Promotion-chasing Wrexham drop points against Woking

Joey Jones’ 80th-minute header earned Woking a 2-2 draw and dented Wrexham’s promotion hopes.
Struggling Woking led in the 13th minute when Nathan Ralph’s corner found Josh Staunton at the back post and he headed home from close range.
It might have been two moments later but Nathan Baxter made a superb save to keep out Sam Wedgbury’s volley.
But Wrexham levelled in the 34th minute as Paul Rutherford’s intended cross squirmed through the area to find the net.
The visitors were ahead when Marcus Kelly’s corner was cleared back to him and he curled in a fine shot from range, but Jones’ late intervention prevented Wrexham from moving into the top three.
