Swansea City vs Arsenal - Renato Sanches to miss Swansea’s home clash with Arsenal
Posted Tuesday, January 30, 2018 by PA
Swansea will be without midfielder Renato Sanches for Tuesday’s Premier League clash against Arsenal at the Liberty Stadium.
Sanches suffered a hamstring injury during the FA Cup fourth round draw at Notts County, and is a non-starter against the Gunners.
Federico Fernandez is set to return, though, after missing the cup game because of a nose injury as Swansea look for another impressive performance after beating Liverpool a week ago.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan is set to make his Arsenal debut.
The Armenia international joined from Manchester United in exchange for Alexis Sanchez last week and is expected to feature at the Liberty Stadium.
The Gunners are also boosted by the return of Olivier Giroud following a hamstring injury but fellow forward Danny Welbeck (hip) is still missing, as is Santi Cazorla (Achilles).
